What MagenTrust stores, for how long, and how IP addresses are protected.
What is stored
- Verification decisions (PASS, CHALLENGE, INTERRUPT)
- SHA-256 hashed IP addresses, never raw IPs
Retention
- Verification records: 2 hours
- Sessions: 30 days
- Hashed IP addresses: 30 to 90 days
- Audit records: set by the customer, from 30 days up to 7 years
